Our story

Hi, my name's Vicki. I am the Co-Founder of Actv8.

Actv8 started from our love of the outdoors, sport and the beach and, of course, the dreaded hot car seat & sweaty bodies.

    A better way

    Life in our family has always been busy. We're jumping in and out of cars, getting sweaty, sandy, covered in zinc, eating on the go and generally making a mess. We knew there had to be a better way.

    How it started

    I went through more than 30 prototypes, testing fabrics, feel, weight and functionality. I wanted quality, value, and products that could move with you.

    For the first three years, I did it all myself, working seven days a week. The business started in our home, took over the garage and eventually seemed to take over the whole house.

    There were trucks to unload, thousands of products to count, orders to pack, markets to get to and plenty of late nights.

    I've always been pretty hyperactive, but this was next level! I loved it and it just kept me going.

    Eventually my son joined, and we now run the business side by side each day.

    The journey so far

    I built Actv8 to more than 50,000 products sold, and counting.

    Seeing Actv8 out there across Australia and around the world means more to me than the number of sales. When customers come back and buy another one, that's what really gets me.

    It's not the sale, it's knowing we create a product our customers genuinely use over and over again.

    That's what we want Actv8 to be about.

    Life is expensive, and we know people want value from what they buy. We don't want to create products that sit in a cupboard and only get used for one thing.

    We want to create quality, functional products that can be used in more than one place, for more than one purpose, and move with you.

  4. Thank you & what's next

    Our mission is simple: create great products that genuinely get used and give our customers real value.

    We want every Actv8 product to earn its place: something you reach for again and again because it makes everyday life a little easier.

    I am incredibly proud of what we've built, and I'm excited to see where we can take Actv8 next.

    And yes, we still have that big dream, that one day, every Aussie will see our product on popular retail shelves.
