Hey, I’m Vicki, founder of Actv8 and someone who lives and breathes the outdoors.

If I’m not boxing, surfing, or running, I’m probably hiking. Movement is my escape, it keeps me happy, grounded, and inspired.

But the ride home? Not so fun.

Hot leather seats, sweat, sand, and zinc... I was constantly wrecking my car seats.

So, I set out to a towel that suited me and for anyone who lives an active life. I knew what we needed.

I went through heaps of prototypes. I was picky: it had to be soft, recycled, high-quality, quick-drying, and actually stay in place. And of course, it had to look good, sporty, stylish, with beautiful colours and an embroidered logo that gave it that extra edge.

But it couldn’t just be a car seat cover. I wanted a multifunctional towel, one I could throw over a gym bench, take to the beach, and use on the go. That zipped pocket? I use it all the time, especially at the beach when I’ve got nowhere to stash my keys or sunnies.
